  • Overview

    John H. Northrop & Associates, Inc. d/b/a JHNA seeks a talented, highly motivated individual to serve as a Program Support Lead.  This person will join a fast paced, dynamic team that plans, coordinates, and executes all aspects of programs that demonstrate Science and Technology (S&T) priorities across a wide variety of aviation assets and posture them for integration into current and future Army aircraft.  Work may include aviation and aircraft survivability, flight controls integration, sensor/cueing integration, and the integration of advanced avionics packages to include UAVs.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate all phases of a program lifecycle: requirement generation, planning, scheduling, cost management, execution, and reporting
    • Interact with a variety of stakeholders across multiple DoD organizations, industry, and academia to ensure program success
    • Adjust priorities and resource allocations based on program performance
    • Generate summaries and reports, market research, acquisition plans, and trade studies
    • Support various simulation and evaluations and flight test of various platforms
    • Assist with post-test data reduction, data analysis, and generation of test reports

    Required:

    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Knowledge of military aviation operations, flight crew duties, and unmanned systems
    • At least 10 years of Army aviation experience with combat deployments

    Required Education:

    • B.S./B.A. degree

    Security Clearance:

    • Must be able to obtain and maintain an active clearance.  US citizenship required to obtain a clearance. 

    Desired:

    • Experience with systems engineering as it pertains to the integration of aviation systems

    • Experience with the Army acquisitions/contracting processes

    • Experience with integrating/testing aviation systems

    • Experience producing and/or reviewing technical evaluations, engineering studies, reports, analyses, and acquisition plans/strategies

    Desired Education:

    • B.S. degree in a technical field of study

    Desired Security Clearance:

    • Active security clearance
