    John H. Northrop & Associates, Inc. d/b/a JHNA seeks a talented, highly motivated individual to serve as a Senior Logistics Planner with our

    CASCOM client at Fort Lee in central Virginia. ** This position is contingent upon contract award **

    Responsibilities

    • Manages/coordinates the execution of strategic logistics planning/future operations planning efforts.
    • Integrates planning documents by understanding the unique blend of tactical to strategic level support, and service support operations
    • Monitor operations, methods and procedures to ensure efficient and effective productivity or workflow.
    • Conduct and participate in briefings or conferences regarding strategic, operational and contingency planning programs, making recommendations, decisions/commitments as they relate to strategic logistics plans.
    • Complete requirements determination, analysis, and planning towards meeting program vision and internal goals.
    • Coordinate and comment on joint plans, instructions, memorandums, and directives pertaining to the program.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Must possess a minimum of 25+ years of experience in Sustainment Systems attaining a minimum rank of Colonel/06,preferably above.
    • Must be capable of thinking at the strategic level and thinking through impacts in volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous environments.
    • Must be capable of anticipating and understanding the impacts of second and third order effects.

    Required Education: 

    • Bachelor's Degree

    Preferred Education:

    • Master's Degree

    Required Security Clearance:

    • Must be able to obtain and maintain an Security Clearance.  US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance

    Preferred Security Clearance:

    • Active Secret Clearance
